Thanks to our partnership with i-Hub S.A. (“i-Hub”), update your identification data and attach your supporting documents independently from within your online banking (“remote banking”) access, without leaving home or needing to see your adviser.

What is i-Hub?

i-Hub is a Luxembourg company specialising in digital transformation, working to facilitate the exchange of identification data between financial institutions and their clients. i-Hub is a subsidiary of POST Luxembourg and its shareholders include Banque de Luxembourg and the other main Luxembourg banks.

The i-Hub platform provides highly secure hosting for your personal digital file and simplifies the management of your identification data and identity documents, which the Bank is required by current legislation to keep up to date.

i-Hub’s added value and how it benefits you

Once you have accepted i-Hub’s general terms and conditions, you will benefit from:

Autonomy

Complete independence for managing and sharing your documents

Documents

Regular updating of your identity documents

Security

Enhanced security with the LuxTrust authentication system

Digital access

Digital access to your identification data

Data pooling

The possibility of pooling your information between your different banks so you only have to update your personal file once

Protection

Protection for your data, in strict compliance with the law

Why do you have to update your identification data?

It is crucially important to guarantee the security of all your banking transactions and offer you the best possible digital experience with your bank. If you change your address, your marital status, your job, your identity documents, your phone number... you control how your data is updated with your bank, with complete independence and flexibility.

Only identification data and documents that do not identify the bank concerned can be shared between i-Hub partners where you are a client. All commercial data is excluded from the consolidation scope (account balances, products held, assets, etc.).

How does it work?

How do I activate the service?

The next time you log on to one of your remote banking tools (your E-Banking area or your BL-Mobile Banking app*), a home screen will introduce you to the i-Hub service and enable you to activate it.

* Function available in the desktop version of the E-Banking area and the mobile app (iOS version only)

After you click on “activate i-Hub” you’ll access the i-Hub platform where you can agree to the general terms and conditions and to the pooling of your data. This pooling of data means that you only need to communicate – once and in digital format via the i-Hub platform – the information and documents required to update your file at all of the i-Hub partner banks where you are a client. Unless you provide your consent to pooling, you will need to continue providing your personal data and identification documents to each bank individually. Please note that you can withdraw your consent to data pooling at any time.

How can I access my profile on the i-Hub platform?

Once you’ve accepted the general terms and conditions, you’ll be able to access your i-Hub profile at any time and check whether any of your documents need updating. You can then upload the new document(s) online.

To make your life simpler, Banque de Luxembourg will inform you directly on the home screen of one of your remote banking tools if there is any action you need to take (this feature is already available on the desktop version of your E-Banking area and soon your BL-Mobile Banking app).

Your confidentiality preserved, your security enhanced
